Steven Langdon, New Albany Attorney

Attorney Steven P. Langdon

Licensed to practice in both Indiana and in Kentucky, Steve Langdon is an experienced elder law and trial attorney. In addition to his litigation and trial work, Steve’s practice includes wills, trusts, probate, Medicaid planning, guardianship, powers of attorney, and advanced directive planning including living wills and health care surrogate designations. Steve earned his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis in 1996.

Steve grew up in Clarksville, Indiana with his mother, father, and three brothers. He attended Clarksville Community Schools where his father taught for many years. He is married to the former Karen Huber who also grew up in Clarksville, Indiana. Karen is a special needs educator. They are raising four children and currently live in Floyd County, Indiana.

Out of law school, Steve first worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Clark County, Indiana. There, he spent most of his days in court handling hearings and legal conferences. He also frequently tried both jury and bench trials. Thereafter, Steve worked as a civil litigator for Wyatt Tarrant & Combs in their New Albany, Indiana office, and later as a civil litigator for Frost Brown Todd in their Indiana and Kentucky offices. Steve is a lifelong Kentuckiana resident who loves his community and who was eventually drawn to elder care planning by his own personal experience in trying to maneuver the tangled maze of the Medicaid system.
